The fine print, in plain English.

1. Who we are

Tradies First is run by George Prieto, a sole trader, ABN 55 365 731 634, as part of Online First. Contact us any time at George.Prieto@tradiesfirst.com.au. We reply Monday to Friday.

2. Seeing your website first

Asking to see your website is free and there is no obligation. Once we have your business name, trade and service area, we send you links to 2 to 3 versions of your website within 24 hours, Monday to Friday (a request after hours on Friday lands on Monday). You only pay if you choose one.

3. The service

Tradies First is an ongoing, managed website service for trades businesses. We design, write, build, host, maintain and update a website for your business for $99 per month. There is no build fee.

Included in the monthly price:

• As many pages as your business needs: no page limit
• Design, build and the words on your site
• Hosting, security and updates
• Your .com.au domain while you are with us
• Google search setup and Google Business Profile help
• Quote form with email alerts and photo uploads
• Updates to pages, services, photos, prices and contact details
• Simple logo help if you do not have one

There is no page limit. We do not offer a CMS (a login to edit the site yourself) or a blog; instead, email us any change and we make it. We aim to get your requested updates done within 24 hours, usually sooner.

Extras we always quote in writing before starting: an AI receptionist that answers your calls; online booking, payments or a shop; business email mailboxes; ongoing SEO or Google Ads to push you up the rankings; copying across a large existing website; custom features beyond a standard trade site.

We look after hosting and security and fix problems promptly, but like any website we cannot promise it will never be unavailable. We do not promise particular Google rankings, visitor numbers or enquiries.

4. Price and payment

• You pay $99 per month, charged monthly in advance on the same date each month, until you cancel. The first payment is taken when you choose your website and sign up.
• We are not registered for GST, so no GST is added. If we register in future, your price will include it: it will not go up because of GST.
• Payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card details. A receipt is emailed after every payment.
• If a payment fails, Stripe retries it and we will get in touch. We will not switch anything off without talking to you first.
• We will give you at least 90 days' notice by email before any price change, so you can cancel first if you would rather.

5. Cancelling

• No minimum term, no exit fee, no notice period.
• Cancel any time from Manage billing on your payment page, or just email us.
• No further payments are taken. Your website stays up until the end of the month you have already paid for.

6. 30-day money-back guarantee

If you are not happy for any reason, email us within 30 days of your first payment and we refund it in full. No questions, no forms. The refund goes back to your card, usually within 5 to 10 business days. Your website and domain are still yours to keep (sections 7 and 8).

7. Your website is yours

• The website we build for you is yours: the pages, design, words and images on it, along with your business name, logo, photos, anything you send us, and your enquiries.
• If you leave, for any reason and at any time, we send you a complete copy of your website files with step-by-step instructions for putting it up with any web host, plus an export of your enquiries. Free, usually within 5 business days of asking.
• Hosting and the quote form's email alerts run on our systems, so they stop when you leave. The instructions explain how your next web host or developer can connect the form to their own email.

8. Your domain is yours

If you need a domain, we register a .com.au in your business name (the .au rules require it to match your ABN or business name) and pay the renewals while you are with us. It is yours: if you leave, we hand over control at no cost, usually within 5 business days. If you already have a domain, you keep it and your own registrar account; we only point it at your website.

9. What you give us

By sending us information, images or other media for your website, you confirm that:

• the information about your business (including licences, insurance and anything you ask us to publish) is accurate; and
• you own the photos, videos, logos and other media you give us, or have permission to use them online.

If something turns out not to be, tell us and we will take it down straight away.

10. Your rights

Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. Where the law allows, if something goes wrong with the service our responsibility is to fix it or refund the fees for the affected period.

11. Privacy

We use your details only to provide the service and to contact you about it. We do not sell or share them, except with the services we use to run it (Stripe for payments, and our hosting and email providers). More in our privacy policy.

12. Changes to these terms

If we change these terms we will email you at least 90 days before the change applies. If we ever make them less favourable to you, you can cancel before then and the money-back guarantee still applies as it did when you joined.
